We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

NOTICE:

Items sent back to us without a RMA or prior authorization number, or items returned by customers without first requesting a return will not be accepted.  

Customers are responsible for return shipping & handling charges, most notably, be cautious for extensive freight costs for oversized or over-length items, such as one piece fishing rods, Rod & reel combo packages, and any item over 48”.freight costs are historically 100+ dollars for anything over 48” in length.

ALL special orders or personalized & oversized products such as SUP Paddle Boards, any size, type or style of recreational or fishing outfitted kayaks; also any recreational water-sport or recreational boating accessory, such as oversized rafts, water ski, accessories, etc. ALL SALES ARE FINAL UNLESS DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE.

We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Refunds

READ/IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING CREDITS, REFUNDS & STORE CREDIT.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and we will let you know if the refund was approved or not.

Due to our agreements with our loyal subscribers, and return customers, and because of the extraordinarily positive feedback, regarding our ability to provide individualized customer store credit accounts, all refunds for any product, other than those damaged, defective or incorrectly shipped, or otherwise the result of error on behalf of STO, will be provided to the customer and the form of store credit. I

If you do not wish for your refund to be issued in credit, you must’ve notify us immediately in writing, and any third-party, vendor or distributor fees, that STO incur, will be billed an invoice to the customer chose to cancel their order voluntarily.

Any cancellation or refund for excessively long backordered items, or special order & out of stock product with over 14 day lead-times, will be refunded via the method of payment originally provided, unless the customer specifically asks for store credit toward another product from our site.

RESTOCKING & FREIGHT HANDLING SURCHARGES

Unless extenuating circumstances arise, Sea & Tech Outfitters FL LLC does not pay for, write off or otherwise absorb internally, any and all merchant fees or any other associated freight handling or restocking fees, which are in place under the policies that dictate, and for any other reason, guide product returns for any of our distributors or vendors, when processing credit card refunds for any transaction that is not observed as having been directly default of our sales team.

As standard practice, we issue refunds in the form of store credit, as most items we sell to our customers are higher value, special order/drop ship products, with vendors who exercise strict return guidelines, and expensive restocking & handling fees.

We aim to mitigate these costs by simply issuing store credit to our customers so they received the full value of their original purchase price without any handling or restocking fees.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded the original sale amount via store credit within 1-2 business days. 

Special requests can be made for credit/debit card refunds, but our restocking and handling fees do apply.  Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
